More than 100 years after Rudolf Steiner dared to dream of a world healed by the innate goodness of children, Waldorf Education is a thriving global movement, deeply committed to the founding purpose of helping children become creative, independent, moral individuals who seek to do meaningful work with their lives. 

Waldorf students cultivate their intellectual, emotional, physical, and spiritual capacities to be individuals certain of their paths and to be of service to the world. Waldorf is based on the idea that education should address the whole child—their physical well-being, their social and emotional well-being, and their intellectual, cognitive, and spiritual development.

Math, language arts, science, humanities, the arts, languages, and physical education are not simply subjects to be read about and tested. They are experienced. Waldorf education promotes integrative and interdisciplinary thinking through critical thinking, ethical decision-making, and the development of practical skills such as public speaking, leadership, project management, and goal-oriented assignments.

Early Childhood  

In the early childhood years, our focus is on fostering a sense of wonder and imagination. We introduce children to the world through storytelling, music, and creative play. Our curriculum includes activities that promote fine and gross motor skills, language development, social interaction, and nature exploration.

Grades 1-8

In Grades 1-5 the curriculum expands to include academic subjects such as language arts, mathematics, sciences, history, and world languages. Additionally, Waldorf education emphasizes visual, performing and practical arts, and movement. The goal is to foster a deep love for learning and a sense of curiosity in our students. In Grades 6-8 the curriculum expands and deepens. The goal is to continue to deepen a love for learning while also increasing student confidence, skill building, and proficiency. Students are ready for rigorous academics that challenge them to discover truths in the world around them, through experimentation, critical thinking, and exposure to world changing discoveries.
