Who We Are

At West End School (WES), we believe that every child deserves the chance to thrive. As a tuition-free, independent school in West Louisville, we empower boys and girls from under-resourced households with a top-tier education from Pre-K through 8th grade. Our mission is to create a safe and stable environment where high expectations and strong support lead to student success.

WES began in 2005 with just three middle school students and has since grown to serve 205 students on our five-acre campus in the Chickasaw neighborhood. In August 2025, proudly opened our Girls' School, starting with grades Pre-K through 2nd. We help students reach their full potential through rigorous academics, individualized instruction, and leadership training, fostering an environment where respect and responsibility are core values.
