$50 puts one founder through Wild Academy for a full month — the complete course library, nearly 50 hands-on workshops, and Willa, our proprietary AI coach, available 24/7.

WELCOME TO WILD!

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to fostering innovation and providing essential support for founders and professionals. We believe brilliance is everywhere, especially in communities often overlooked. Wild exists to build an inclusive ecosystem where your background doesn’t limit your future, where you’re seen, supported, and powered to scale.

We are based in Louisville, KY, and empower historically marginalized founders, women, people of color, LGBTQIA+, immigrants, and folks from economically disadvantaged communities, with entrepreneurship education, mentorship, and capital. Because entrepreneurship isn't just about building businesses. It's about building wealth, transforming communities, and changing what's possible for the next generation.

Wild was founded in 2018 by the Louisville design firm Kale & Flax, who sold the brand rights to Story Louisville a year later for $1, because they believed it deserved a permanent home. Simmons College of Kentucky, the University of Memphis, the Louisville Urban League, The Well Incubator, and Story have brought Wild Academy to their communities through our train-the-trainer model.
