Since 1979, Workwell Industries has stood for one simple but powerful belief: everyone deserves the dignity of meaningful work. We open doors for those who too often find them closed: individuals with disabilities, refugees, veterans, seniors, and anyone facing economic hardship.

Our mission is clear: empower people through work. It's not just a job - it's skills, support, a renewed sense of pride, independence, and purpose.

As the largest employer in Louisville’s Portland neighborhood, we’re more than a workplace. We’re a lifeline for our community. With the majority of our funding self-generated, we’re not dependent on government aid. Instead, we sustain our mission through the very services we provide that help businesses grow while transforming lives.
