To empower youth of Hispanic heritage to fulfill their aspirations as well-rounded and engaged members of the global community.

About Us

Who We Are
For more than 20 years, Adelante Hispanic Achievers has supported Hispanic and Latino youth and their families in Louisville, Kentucky.

As the only local organization dedicated exclusively to the advancement of students of Hispanic heritage, Adelante provides free, year-round programs focused on academic achievement, mentorship, leadership development, college and career exploration, and family engagement.

Since 2005, Adelante has served more than 1,300 young people and celebrated the graduation of 15 senior cohorts, creating a lasting impact through guidance, enrichment, and access to experiences that inspire achievement, expand possibilities, and prepare participants for life beyond high school.

What We Are Asking During Give for Good

Help Us Keep Our Programs Free for over 80 Families
This Give for Good Louisville, we are raising funds to ensure that every student and family can continue participating in Adelante programs at no cost.

Your gift helps provide:

• Transportation for educational field trips, college visits, and career exploration experiences

• Support for family events, including our College & Career Fair and educational workshops

• Healthy snacks and beverages for students during program activities

• Professional interpretation services for workshops, events, and family engagement programs

• Educational materials and supplies for all participating students

• Access to mentorship, leadership development, academic support, and college readiness opportunities

Every dollar invested directly supports the experiences and resources that help students succeed.

Adelante supports students from middle school through high school graduation and beyond through programs focused on:

This past academic year, 62 Achievers and more than 40 parents participated consistently in Adelante's programs, representing 32 schools and 12 countries of Hispanic and Latino heritage. Through year-round engagement, students and families gained access to mentorship, academic support, leadership development, college and career exploration, and meaningful community connections.

Throughout the year, students benefited from:

• 150 hours of one-on-one mentorship

• 120 hours of academic tutoring

Outcomes 

• 100% of Adelante seniors graduated high school on time

• 80% of Adelante seniors enrolled in college

• 3.4 cumulative GPA among Adelante Achievers

These results reflect more than academic success. They represent increased confidence, leadership skills, college and career readiness, and a strong support system that helps Hispanic youth achieve their goals. Through a continuous pathway of support from middle school through high school and beyond, Adelante is helping students build brighter futures for themselves, their families, and our community.
