Building A Better Future Together

Hi, I'm Cayla - an urban grower of two years and the Field Organizer at Change Today, Change Tomorrow. Before I joined staff, I spent two years as a volunteer. I wanted to feel more connected to my community, and my sister suggested I check out CTCT. From my very first day, I enjoyed being able to show up for my neighbors and be part of something bigger than myself. I loved it so much that when a position opened up, I applied without a second thought.

My favorite CTCT event is the West End Farmers Market. It's truly beautiful to see so many people come out to support local vendors, farmers, and artists. If you've ever been to the market some common things you'll see are folks laughing, dancing, catching up, and building community right there in the park. Every time it comes around, I'm reminded of why this work matters.
