For someone rebuilding their life in recovery, dependable transportation can determine whether they make it to work, attend treatment, receive medical or behavioral healthcare, meet court and probation obligations, or access other essential recovery services.

NorthStar Recovery provides safe, structured recovery housing for men and women working toward long-term stability and independence. Our two residences can serve up to 17 people at one time and approximately 35–45 residents throughout the year. Many residents enter our program without a vehicle or the financial resources to arrange consistent transportation, while limited public transportation in Southern Indiana creates an additional barrier.

We are raising $25,000 to purchase a safe, reliable passenger vehicle and cover related acquisition expenses. Every contribution moves us closer to putting this vehicle on the road. A $25 gift can help provide transportation to an essential appointment, $100 can support several recovery-related trips, $500 can help cover vehicle and operating expenses, and larger gifts can make a significant investment in dependable transportation for residents.
