Over the years, I’ve watched KHJN show up for Kentuckians, first by helping folks reach care that was too far and too expensive, and now, with Kentucky’s harsh abortion ban, by doing even more. KHJN doesn’t stop at the appointment; they help with the real-life stuff that gets in the way: gas and rides, a warm meal, childcare, and even a safe place to sleep when waiting for another appointment is required.
