I'm proud to support Ronald McDonald House Louisville during Give for Good because I believe every family deserves to stay together while their child receives the medical care they need.

When a child is hospitalized, families shouldn't have to worry about where they'll sleep, how they'll afford meals, or how they'll stay close to their child. Ronald McDonald House Louisville helps remove those burdens by providing a home away from home, meals, comfort, and a supportive community—all at no cost to the families they serve.

Every day, they help families focus on what matters most: their child's healing.

We stay at Ronald McDonald House Louisville when our son, Murray, is receiving treatment at the Frazier Rehab Institute in Louisville. Murray had an in utero spinal cord injury that affects his body from the collar bone down. The team at Frazier is world-renowned for their pediatric neurorecovery physical and occupational therapies, but without Ronald McDonald House Louisville, we'd never be able to make the trip: we travel all the way from Washington State. 

The gains we have seen in Murray's progress have been amazing: he's kicked a ball here for the first time. He can now grab things with his thumbs and forefingers. He has gotten so much stronger and confident. The staff at Ronald McDonald House have been there to help celebrate and support us the entire way: cheering us on after a great day of therapy, keeping us nourished, or offering a kind word after a hard week.

I've set a goal of $250 to help Ronald McDonald House Louisville continue providing families with a safe place to stay, warm meals, caring support, and hope during some of the most challenging moments of their lives.
