Jason's GFG Fundraiser-KCRF

Since 2000, KCRF has assisted in the pursuit of a cure for cancer through the support of education, prevention and the development of innovative treatment options.   All this in the context of emphasizing quality of life and dignity for cancer patients and their families in Kentuckiana.  As health-care delivery continues to evolve in the United States and new modalities in cancer treatment are developed, it is the Mission of KCRF to remain on the forefront of these events, not only providing support for novel research endeavors, but also ongoing education to healthcare providers and enhancement of   access to clinical trials for cancer patients in Kentuckiana.

As a cancer medicine specialist and neuro oncologist, Dr. La Rocca founded KCRF to help promote access to state-of-the-art cancer care to the members of our community. Tremendous progress has been made over the last decade in the eradication of many cancers, but much work remains.  Small steps lead to great strides.

Since its inception, KCRF has also continued to evolve.  We currently have a Board of Directors of seven dedicated professionals, many with a medical background.  We continue to support students pursuing a career in medicine and award grants to programs within Kentuckiana that support our mission.  

All funds raised directly support our programs and mission.  We are 100 % volunteer based.  The journey continues...
