I don’t just work at the Fuller Center, I have lived the impact of this program. When I was facing housing insecurity, the Fuller Center gave me the chance to achieve homeownership. That affordable mortgage gave me stability and a safe place to raise my children. At first, they dreamed about how they would decorate their rooms. Now, they talk about designing homes of their own one day. Because I achieved homeownership, they believe they can too. That is the power of generational change.

Today, I am honored to serve as the Executive Director of the Fuller Center for Housing of Louisville. I see every day how many families are struggling to find safe, affordable homes. With government funding for housing being cut and downpayment assistance eliminated from our local budget, our work has never been more important. Families in our community need hope, and they need us.
