I'm proud to support Ronald McDonald House Louisville during Give for Good because I believe every family deserves to stay together while their child receives the medical care they need.

When a child is hospitalized, families shouldn't have to worry about where they'll sleep, how they'll afford meals, or how they'll stay close to their child. Ronald McDonald House Louisville helps remove those burdens by providing a home away from home, meals, comfort, and a supportive community—all at no cost to the families they serve.

Every day, they help families focus on what matters most: their child's healing.

We have stayed over 400 nights at the Ronald McDonald House Louisville. We stayed on 2020 when Coen was born and in NICU for 5 months. We stayed again in 2021 when Coen had RSV, parainfluenza, and HMPV. We stayed 28 days for Ginny in 2022 when she had unexplained seizures. In December of 2022 Ginny had a necrotizing mass on her neck and was hospitalized for a week. In 2023, we faced the hardest time and Coen was in the hospital with ulcers and a brain bleed, enduring 32 stomach surgeries and an emergency brain surgery. He was hospitalized for 10 months, and through the generosity of everyone involved with Ronald McDonald House, we were able to stay close to him. In 2024 we stayed a few weeks while Coen was hospitalized for irregular heart rates. We recently stayed for 20 days while Coen had his trach removed and we tested him for nutritional malabsorption.  

Ronald McDonald house is so much more than a place to sleep, it is a place to eat hot meals, take showers, wash your clothes, and even participate in planned activities for the kids!
