Help the Center for Accessible Living Bowling Green Make Inclusion Possible!
At the CAL BG, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to participate, belong, and live independently.
Over the past two years, CAL BG has created accessible community experiences like our Accessible Easter Egg Hunt and Accessible Trunk or Treat, giving children and families with disabilities the opportunity to enjoy community events without unnecessary barriers.
We’ve also helped consumers pursue resources for in-home caregivers, ramps, accessibility modifications, and other supports that make greater independence possible.
But much of what we do starts with being present in our community through outreach events, partnerships, education, advocacy, and connecting people with resources. We’ve provided Disability Etiquette Training to many organizations to promote inclusion and education about disability awareness and ableism.
Your support helps us purchase the materials needed to host accessible events, participate in outreach opportunities, educate our community, and continue providing services that help people with disabilities live the lives they choose.
