Whoville Christmas: A Celebration of Joy, Giving, and Community

Whoville Christmas is a free, family-friendly holiday celebration created to give youth ages 11 and under an unforgettable Christmas experience filled with joy, laughter, love, and community. Hosted by It Takes a Village 502, this special event brings families together to celebrate the holiday season while making sure every child feels included and remembered.

Every child who attends Whoville Christmas receives a brand-new winter coat, a toy, and a candy bag, making the event about more than just fun—it is about meeting the needs of children and helping families during the holiday season. We understand that the cost of Christmas can be a challenge for many families, and our goal is to ensure that every child can experience the excitement of receiving a gift and having something special to enjoy.

Children will have the opportunity to experience more than 15 Christmas-themed stations and activities, including writing letters to Santa, Pin the Heart on the Grinch, a cake walk, arts and crafts, games, and so much more. Families can also take memorable photos with Santa Claus and the Grinch, creating special holiday memories that they can treasure for years to come.

Whoville Christmas is also about bringing families together. Children and their families are provided with food while they enjoy the festivities, creating a welcoming environment where everyone can celebrate together. From the excitement of seeing Santa and the Grinch to playing games, enjoying treats, receiving a new coat and toy, and spending time with loved ones, Whoville Christmas is designed to create a day filled with positive memories.

At the heart of Whoville Christmas is the belief that every child deserves to experience the magic of Christmas, regardless of their family's financial situation. This event allows our community to come together and make a meaningful difference in the lives of local children.

Donations are greatly appreciated and directly help us provide coats, toys, candy bags, food, and Christmas activities for the children who attend. Every contribution, large or small, helps us reach more families and ensure that more children can experience the joy of Whoville Christmas.
