Thank y'all so much for giving to Louisville Folk School!! Your giving helped LFS raise over $29K to continue bringing folk and traditional music to kids and adults across the city. I'm excited to see (and hear!) the impact your generosity makes over the next year.

While the Louisville Folk School has always offered group classes and private lessons for teens and adults, in recent years we have expanded music programs for children. This includes In-School Performances, where folk musicians perform in local schools; the Sounds of Kentucky After-School Program, for depth, hands-on music education; and Summer Camps, which delve into folk and traditional music for a full week. These are just some of the ways in which we share the power of live music and the joy of making music together with thousands of youth across Greater Louisville.

Of the 3,800 children who participate in youth programming through the Folk School, 98% do so for free. This is only possible because of sponsors and donors like you. This year on Give for Good, we aim to raise $25,00 to support music education. Your generosity will allow us to provide a welcoming space where students of all ages and abilities can explore their musical talents, connect with others, and celebrate Kentucky's cultural heritage.

I’m asking you to join me in Louisville Folk School's campaign by donating to my fundraiser. Every dollar brings us closer to our goal and helps ensure that the next decade of Louisville Folk School will be even more impactful. Together, we can keep the music alive and create a space where everyone can learn, grow, and share in the joy of music.

Thank you for your support and being part of this incredible community!
