Chris
For much of his life, Chris carried the belief that he was worthless. Neglect, abandonment, and abuse shaped the way he saw himself from a young age. Later, addiction cost him relationships, his children, and years of his life. Then, while in a substance abuse program at a correctional facility, he encountered Freedom Lake Ministries. Through discipleship, he has become a leader himself, boldly standing up front, teaching other men the discipleship tools that helped change his own life.

Ryan
More than 15 rehab programs, 7 psychiatric hospitals, incarceration across 3 states. He overdosed countless times and survived 2 near fatal overdoses.  Then he met Tony, heard a story he could finally relate to, and began learning what it actually meant to be disciple of Jesus Christ.

Jamie
Freedom Lake introduced me to God in a way that I had never known Him before. Today I have purpose and life as a staff member in the ministry. Please help us reach into the fires we were pulled from, lift others from their depths, and introduce them to Christ.

Michael
Michael's story included trauma, addiction, crime, and incarceration. Even after finding faith, he describes falling again and again because he was still trying to figure things out on his own. Then, while incarcerated, he started coming downstairs to Freedom Lake's discipleship nights. Through mentorship, accountability, and discipleship, he found there, and something began to change. Today, he serves with Freedom Lake Ministries with a clear purpose: to be a disciple who makes disciples.

Daniel
For Daniel, prison was something he had grown up seeing as normal. Every male figure in his life spent time in and out of prison. Then, behind prison walls, Daniel heard Tony's testimony, and it gave him hope. Today, Daniel goes back in and shares his testimony, bringing the hope of change to others.

After 13 years of heroin addiction and more than 40 overdoses, Travis had lost hope that freedom was even possible. Through Freedom Lake Ministries, Travis encountered the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.
