Fuel the Work

Peer support shouldn't depend on where someone lives. THRIVE currently serves 17 counties across Southern and Central Indiana, including rural communities where access to recovery resources and peer support can be limited. Fuel the Work helps provide the resources and infrastructure our team needs to bring consistent, accessible peer support into the communities we serve.

Building a consistent presence across our service area looks different in every community. This fund can support the transportation and outreach capacity that allows our peers to be present in rural and underserved areas, as well as accessible spaces where individuals can connect with a peer, attend a group, or learn more about available support. It also helps us continue expanding peer-led groups, outreach, and other community-based services where additional support is needed.

Technology also plays an important role in connecting a team spread across a large service area. Reliable technology and data systems help our staff communicate across counties, coordinate referrals and services, document our work, track outcomes, and better understand where needs are emerging. These investments happen behind the scenes, but they strengthen the work happening face-to-face every day.

Fuel the Work can also support the materials, equipment, and operational resources that allow THRIVE to expand outreach, recovery and wellness groups, reentry support, harm-reduction efforts, and other peer-led services throughout our communities.

Some investments help us reach a community. Others help us build a stronger presence once we're there. Together, they give our team the tools and infrastructure to serve more people, strengthen local connections, and continue building access to peer support across Indiana.
