Action for Animals

As a child I used to walk to elementary school saving worms off the sidewalk after heavy rains! This empathy and compassion for animals has continued with me and thus, two rescue organizations were born from this benevolence! Blue Ridge Animal Rescue & Sanctuary is a true organization built from the heart! This organization cares for each animal that it intakes and makes it the priority to give excellent nutrition, training through the Paws Behind Bars Prison Training Program if needed and tends to emotional and social needs as well! It is a top priority to get to know each animal and what they need to thrive with an adoptive family! Our goal is to create families where both the companion animal and the adopting families' needs and desires are met! It's an all volunteer organization and the dedication to this mission is unmatched! We would love your support during Give For Good Louisville as we can't perform this charitable work without YOU!  Please consider a donation of any amount! Share and help spread the word to make this campaign a success for the animals! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
