Hello! My name is Jasmin and I am Change Today, Change Tomorrow's Board President. I am currently an adjunct professor at the University of Louisville's Kent School of Social Work and Family Science. I also am an Administrative Assistant at Applegate Recovery.
I got involved in CTCT after wanting to take my professional growth to the next level while also being able to serve my community. CTCT has a simple, but yet very significant goal they are accomplishing: Feeding the residents of the West End of Louisville. Through their many successful programs CTCT has been able to bring healthy food options to the people they serve.
My favorite CTCT program is the West End Farmer's Market. I love that different Black vendors have a sacred place to come and sell their homemade goods while being able to be in community.
It is important for folks to donate on Give for Good because Change Today, Change Tomorrow is closing the gap on food injustice in the West End of Louisville. These programs must thrive and remain sustainable in order to continue closing the gap and accomplishing its mission.
