Swish 2 Success is a Shelby County-based nonprofit empowering youth throughout Shelby County, Louisville, and surrounding communities through sports, education, mentorship, and leadership development.
Founded in 2018, our organization uses sports as a platform to create opportunities that help young people develop leadership skills, value education, and reach their full potential. Our sports outreach is led by one of our founding members, Shelby County native AJ Slaughter, a professional basketball player with 17 years of international playing experience. AJ brings the lessons, discipline, and experiences gained throughout his professional career back home to help inspire and develop the next generation.
At Swish 2 Success, our goal is bigger than basketball—we are creating opportunities, building relationships, and preparing young people to succeed on and off the court.
