Investing in Peer Development

At THRIVE, our Certified Peer Recovery Coaches bring something to the table that can't be taught in a classroom: lived experience. They understand what it means to face challenges, work toward change, and navigate systems that aren't always easy to navigate.

Certification is an important part of becoming a Peer Recovery Coach, but the learning doesn't stop there. The people and situations our peers encounter are different every day, and continued training gives them more tools to meet those needs with knowledge, confidence, and understanding.

When you invest in the THRIVE team, you help our Certified Peer Recovery Coaches access specialized trainings, continuing education, conferences, additional certifications, and other opportunities to grow their skills. These experiences can strengthen their work in areas like recovery support, reentry, mental health, family support, community outreach, and navigating local resources and systems.

Professional growth also creates new opportunities for our peers themselves. Lived experience can become the foundation for a meaningful career, and continued education allows our team members to build on that foundation, develop new skills, and grow as professionals and leaders in the recovery field.
