Lennea Coombs fundraiser for KCRF

Today I’m raising money for the Kentuckiana Cancer Reserach Foundation. I had the pleasure of working alongside it’s founder, Dr. Renato LaRocca for nearly 2 decades. To say he had a major impact on my career and life would be an understatement. While he was a phenomenal cancer medicine specialist, those of you that know him understand he is so much more than that. 

Since 2000, KCRF has assisted in the conquest of cancer through support of education, prevention and development of innovative treatment options while emphasizing efforts to preserve quality of life for cancer patients and families throughout Kentuckiana. As health-care delivery evolves in the United States and new directions in cancer treatment are developed, KCRF will remain on the forefront of these events, furnishing support for novel research endeavors, providing education to healthcare providers, and enhancing support to patients in Kentuckiana.
