Recovery begins when someone believes change is possible.

Every day, men and women complete treatment determined to build a better life. But recovery doesn't end when treatment ends.

Without safe housing, transportation, employment support, accountability, and a community that believes in them, many people face barriers that can make lasting recovery difficult.

NorthStar Recovery exists to remove those barriers.

Our recovery homes provide more than a bed—they provide hope, structure, peer support, transportation, and a community where people are encouraged to rebuild their lives one day at a time.

Every person who comes through our doors has a story.

Abigail's Story

"Before coming to NorthStar Recovery, I had five different sobriety dates. Every relapse left me wondering if lasting recovery was really possible for me."

At NorthStar Recovery, Abigail found something she had never experienced before—women who believed in her before she believed in herself.

Today she has a sponsor, a home group, a job, and says recovery has given her hope, purpose, and a future she never thought she could have.

Corentia's Story

After more than twenty years battling addiction—and after multiple rehabilitation programs—Corentia thought she had exhausted every option.

Then she came to NorthStar Recovery.

She discovered mentors who shared their own recovery journeys with honesty and compassion.

"They don't just teach from a book—they share their stories. Their willingness to share their experience has made a real difference in my life."

Eric's Story

Eric arrived at NorthStar feeling completely alone and uncertain about his future.

Within just two weeks he had found a job, paid off his reinstatement fees, connected with a sponsor, and began working the Twelve Steps.

Today he encourages others:

"When you feel lost and unsure what to do, go to NorthStar. They'll help you get your feet set on the right path."

These stories are only possible because people in our community choose to invest in recovery.

By supporting my fundraiser, you're helping provide:

  • Safe recovery housing
  • Transportation to treatment, work, and recovery meetings
  • Peer support and accountability
  • Life-skills development
  • Opportunities for lasting recovery

Every dollar helps another person write the next recovery story.

Thank you for helping build lives filled with hope, purpose, and second chances.
