Off the Page, On the Stage is FaithWORKS Performing Arts’ signature arts immersion field trip day designed to bring stories to life for young people in our community. In one unforgettable experience, students attend a fully staged live performance, take part in a Q&A with the cast, and join hands-on workshops in acting, dancing, and production. They tour the theater, take a class photo with professional actors, and even step onto the stage themselves to showcase what they’ve learned. For many, it is their very first time taking a dance class, meeting a professional performer face-to-face, or seeing the inside of a working theater. These moments spark imagination, build confidence, and open doors to possibilities students may have never dreamed of. By bridging literacy with language arts and history, Off the Page, On the Stage reinforces what students are learning in the classroom while deepening comprehension through the power of live performance.

This year, our goal is to raise $50,000 to bring 1,600+ students—completely free of cost—to experience this program. At just $30 per student, we provide not only the full arts immersion day, but also lunch and round-trip transportation. For many children, this will be their very first exposure to live theater, to learning directly from professional artists, and to discovering their own creative voice. Your gift ensures that students who might never otherwise have the chance can step into a world of possibility—one that builds confidence, creativity, and a love of learning that will last a lifetime.
