New Life Directions Ministries (Training Center)

In the last few years, I have had the opportunity to be involved with New Life Directions Ministry (NLDM) as a Board Member. I have learned and experienced a great deal during this time. In addition, my wife and I personally have had a blessing enter our lives as well. Below you see Kori, we kind like her. She entered this world in June of 2023, 2 months early and her beautiful mom our niece is holding her. Our Niece is a single mom. My wife and I have had the opportunity to be part of their lives since then in a close way. It's interesting how God works they came into our lives just as we were facing some challenges and getting involved in NLDM. It's been such a blessing. My wife and I do not have children and have learned a lot in the last 2 plus years. Specifically, that parents and single moms have challenges as we all do. Often, they are by themselves, some without families, don't have a safe place to stay, some have financial hardships, fathers not being involved etc. We will continue to be involved in Kori and her mom's life for the rest of our lives God willing. There are many mothers that don't get that help.

This has taught us the importance of ministries like NLDM. It has a focus to help single mothers based upon Christian principles to become self-sustaining over time and hopefully fellow believers in Christ.

Over the last year, New Life Directions Ministries has undergone a transformation to better serve the Greater Louisville Community. We have recently completed the construction and grand opening of our state-of-the-art facility. Our facility, or campus, hosts a training center, administrative offices, childhood development center, and private transitional housing. This one-stop-shop changes the way families receive services and ultimately their odds of achieving stability. 

With this recent change, more needs have become clear. The primary need we have is to expand our services to match the growing need in Louisville. Donations received through the Give for Good Fundraiser help us provide higher quality tools and resources to more of our neighbors and community members. Your donations will help fuel our growing program and help to bring stability to those working hard for it. 

Kim and I support this ministry, and we ask that you consider supporting as well. There is always a need and support is required.
