Cory's Fundraiser for Animal Care Society

If you know me, you know I'm all about animals!  I recently joined the board of Animal Care Society (ACS) because not only do I support their mission, I also support the way they work towards their mission.  They are working hard to make sure their placements are appropriate (matchmaking at its best!) and that everyone will be successful.

ACS is Louisville’s first no-kill shelter. For more than 40 years, they have been rescuing dogs and cats who have been abandoned, neglected, or simply in need of a safe place to call home. Every pet that comes through their doors is given food, shelter, medical care, and, most importantly, love until they find their forever home.

Since its beginning, ACS has placed over 17,000 animals into caring families. None of this would be possible without the generosity of donors, volunteers, and supporters who believe in giving second chances. Unlike many shelters, ACS receives no government funding. They rely completely on people like us who want to make a difference.
