At The Arrow Fund, we step in where the darkest cruelty happens. We rescue the dogs and cats who have survived torture, abuse, and extreme neglect—taking on the most severe cases when no one else can.  

Even after years of rescue work, the horrors we encounter still break our hearts. On the exact same day Gentle Ben was saved from an owner who had superglued his degloved lips and splinted his broken leg with a large wooden spoon, two dog sisters were found in the very same county—one beaten so severely that fresh blood was still oozing from her wounds.

Thanks to people like you, their stories didn't end there. All three dogs were brought to safety, received expert veterinary care, and entered loving foster homes. Today, Gentle Ben and one of those sisters has already found their forever family! We could not be happier for them!
