Celebrating 80 Years of Extraordinary Children's Theatre

$1,000 goal

StageOne Family Theatre has been changing children’s lives for 80 years. Together, let’s shape the next 80.

Thursday, September 10, is Give for Good Louisville, and as a proud member of StageOne’s Board of Directors, I am asking for your help to reach our $8,000 goal in honor of this incredible milestone anniversary.

I enthusiastically give my time and resources to StageOne because I see firsthand how theatre transforms our kids. It builds their confidence, sparks their creativity, and gives them a voice. From our historic roots in 1946 to our exciting recent merger with the Walden Conservatory, StageOne has spent decades making sure that the magic of live theatre is accessible to every child in our community.

Today, we reach over 40,000 children annually—with many of our programs offered at absolutely no cost to families—through:

  • Mainstage performances at The Kentucky Center

  • Community camps and conservatory classes at Payne Street

  • In-school programs in preschool, kindergarten, elementary and middle school classrooms

We know that these early arts experiences have a lifelong impact. They build the creativity, social skills, and resilience that set children up for a bright future.

Your donation ensures that the next generation of Louisville children gets to experience the joy, opportunities, and community of StageOne.

Please join me in investing in the next 80 years of transformational theatrical performances and education for the children of Louisville.
