Folk School Drum Crew

If African drumming has brought some joy into your life, here’s a chance to pass a little of that along.

Students in our community based projects have learned the joy of connection and expression through African drumming. They've also learned more about a culture they perhaps had not known about before.

Louisville Folk School provides instruments for every student in the program, so kids can participate regardless of whether their family can afford an instrument of their own.

Drop a $10 bill in the African drumming bucket! Every gift adds up, and $200 puts a new instrument directly into a student’s hands.

Whether you give $10, $25, $50, or fund an entire instrument, your gift helps us give more young people the chance to experience the joy of making music together.

Drummers, this one’s ours. Help us show what the mandolin community can do!
