Lifelong Learning: The History We Share

As proud members of the Frazier History Museum, I know this place is more than a museum.

It’s a space where stories come alive—where people of all ages and backgrounds can see themselves reflected in Kentucky’s history and culture. The Frazier is a place of connection, learning, identity, and belonging. It’s where we’ve deepened our understanding of the state we call home and discovered new perspectives on the past we all share.

That’s why we're supporting the Frazier’s Give for Good Louisville campaign to raise $15,000 in 24 hours. This campaign, Lifelong Learning: The History We Share, will help expand educational access for schoolchildren and sustain programs like Stories in Mind, which brings meaningful history-based programming to seniors in long-term care.

The Frazier is continuously evolving—adding new exhibits, uplifting unheard voices, and making sure that Kentucky’s story includes all Kentuckians. From preserving over 5,000 artifacts to curating fresh content that spans all 120 counties, this museum is actively shaping how our shared history is remembered and retold.

As members, we’ve seen firsthand how important this work is—not only to us but to students on field trips, families exploring the galleries, and older adults reconnecting with cherished memories.

Your support helps keep that momentum going.

Your gift today supports:

  • Free and discounted field trips for students

  • Stories in Mind, our outreach program for seniors

  • New exhibits that celebrate communities across Kentucky

  • The preservation and presentation of Kentucky’s diverse history

Without continued support, we risk losing more than just artifacts—we lose the stories, voices, and lessons that bind us together.

Join us in keeping history alive. Let’s make sure future generations have the same opportunities to learn, connect, and be inspired.

Together, we can preserve the past and shape a future where lifelong learning belongs to everyone.
