Wesley House Community Services, Inc. is one of Louisville's oldest nonprofit neighborhood community centers. Dedicated to the mission of 'helping people help themselves,' it has empowered individuals towards self-sufficiency for over 121 years. We support our community from cradle to career, from early childhood through adulthood.
Afterschool Young Brilliant Achievers (YBA) Program: YBA serves students in grades K-8 and is dedicated to bridging the achievement gap in our community by providing academic tutoring and fostering positive social and emotional development. Students participate in the program at Wesley House immediately after school and during fall, spring, and summer breaks. Collaborating with Evolve 502, Metro United Way, Bellarmine University, and numerous community partners, our goal is to equip our children for academic excellence and future achievements.
On average, more than one hundred children and community members are served by Wesley House each day.
