No one should have to choose between food, shelter, and period products—but for thousands in Kentuckiana, this is a painful reality. At For Lady’s Sake, we believe menstrual health is a human right, and we’re on a mission to end period poverty through community-powered solutions, education, and advocacy.

   

💥 What We’ve Done in 2024:

• Distributed over 18,600 period products across Kentucky and Southern Indiana

• Reached 930 individuals—mostly girls and women—through direct support

• Launched our Period Pod program—free, 24/7 outdoor pantries for period products

• Hosted our first Dining for Dignity breakfast, raising $3,000 and building community

• Held packing parties that brought together 15+ volunteers to assemble 2,000+ kits

• Partnered with 12+ local organizations to ensure widespread access

Period poverty isn’t just about hygiene—it’s about dignity, confidence, and opportunity. Lack of access to menstrual products can lead to missed school, job instability, and lasting stigma. Our work makes sure that no one is left behind simply because of a natural biological need.
