Today, I’m proud to support the Kentucky Science Center through Give for Good, with a personal goal of raising $1,000.

Throughout my academic and professional career, I’ve been committed to supporting and advancing STEM while advocating for communities to not only benefit from scientific discovery and innovation, but to have opportunities to participate in shaping it.

That’s one of the reasons the Kentucky Science Center’s mission resonates so deeply with me. The Science Center is so much more than a place for children. It creates opportunities for people of all ages to explore, question, understand, and engage with science and its impact on our everyday lives.

Science touches everything—from agriculture and technology to healthcare, our environment, and the ways we build and advance our communities.

The Kentucky Science Center’s impact extends well beyond Louisville and Kentucky, reaching communities throughout the region, including 90% of Indiana’s counties, while continuing to expand its reach globally.

Today, I’m asking my network to help me reach my $1,000 goal. Whether you donate, share this post, or encourage someone else to give, you’re helping support greater access to STEM learning, curiosity, discovery, and innovation.

Investing in science education is investing in the people and communities who will shape our future.

Funds raised will support our Annual Fund for Science, providing ongoing support for education programs and initiatives including:

• $500 supports Pulse of Surgery for a class of 25 students. 
• $300 takes one Science Expo to children’s and families’ neighborhoods.
• $139 supports one family with a Community Access Membership. 
• $21 supports one student's field trip admission to our Flagship Facility. 

Your gift will help provide people with hands-on experiences that demonstrate the relevance of STEAM in everyday life.
