Angie's Play Cousins (Board Member)

I am privileged to serve on the Play Cousins Collective Board of Directors, hoping to help uplift the amazing work being done by Kristen Williams and her team.  Building a Village around families so they have the resources needed to thrive is critical work.  Every person and family deserves an environment that allows them to grow, be healthy, and succeed.  Play Cousins builds that environment for our community through their four pillars of Community Healing, Caregiver Support, Youth Enrichment, and Civic Engagement.  I know my mom as a single parent of 3 could not have raised us without the help of friends, family, and co-workers.  It takes a village.  Play Cousins is that village for so many that might otherwise be hindered by barriers like childcare, isolation, and under-resourced systems.
