At Play Cousins Collective, we are more than a program—we are a village. A village rooted in love, culture, and community.

Our Youth Enrichment programs, like the Mizizi After School Program and Playful Pathways, do more than provide tutoring or activities. They are spaces where children discover their heritage, grow in confidence, and embrace their full potential—and many of these programs are offered at no cost.

We know that strong families are the heart of a thriving community. That’s why our Circle Time Caregiver Support initiatives lift parents and guardians with tools, guidance, and encouragement to raise children with intention, pride, and joy.

Our work doesn’t stop there. Civic Engagement programs encourage families and community members to use their voices, advocate for change, and shape the future. Meanwhile, Community Healing initiatives provide safe spaces for reflection, support, and healing—helping to repair the generational and systemic wounds that affect our village.

But love and commitment alone aren’t enough. Our programs rely on funding to continue this essential work. Grants and donations keep our programs running, but these resources are not always guaranteed.
