Every day, I have the privilege of seeing the impact Kentucky Science Center has on our community.

I've watched visitors explore with curiosity in Science Depot, ask insightful questions while examining animal skulls in Discovery Gallery, build robots in MakerPlace, discover how the heart truly beats through our Pulse of Surgery program, and become captivated by gravity-defying demonstrations that spark wonder and inspire discovery.

What inspires me most is how often I meet people who share their own Kentucky Science Center story. Whether they visited as a child, came on a school field trip, or returned years later with their own family, they remember the experience and the sense of wonder it sparked. Those moments matter. They ignite curiosity, build confidence, and help shape the next generation of scientists, engineers, problem-solvers, and innovators.

On September 10, I am participating in Give for Good Louisville in support of Kentucky Science Center's Annual Fund for Science. My personal goal is to raise $100 and help Kentucky Science Center move closer to its overall goal of $25,000.

Gifts to the Annual Fund for Science provide ongoing support for programs and initiatives that make science accessible and engaging for learners of all ages, including:

• $500 supports Pulse of Surgery for a class of 25 students.
• $300 brings a Science Expo directly into neighborhoods and communities.
• $139 provides a family with a Community Access Membership.
• $21 covers field trip admission for one student to visit Kentucky Science Center.

Every gift, no matter the size, helps create hands-on experiences that demonstrate the relevance of STEAM in everyday life. Together, we can ensure today's children have the opportunity to explore, discover, and be inspired, just as generations before them have been.
