The Spencer Family

As you know, we found the most amazing Montessori and classical education school in our new home in Kentucky! Avery is thriving. He has a best buddy, came home singing about the continents in week 2 (Morgan is ecstatic about this early love of geography), and he is counting in Spanish now in addition to learning addition!

Give for Good Louisville day is this Thursday, September 10, and I hope you'll consider supporting Avery's school, Louisville Classical Academy. Click the link above to donate to LCA.

Bonus: Help Avery’s class win an ice cream party by number of donations raised. A ten dollar gift helps as much as a larger one! And if the school reaches its goal, our Head of School, Mr. Markowitz, takes a pie to the face, thrown by the student whose page brings in the most gifts.

Small class sizes, no screens, and a real love of reading are some of the reasons we love LCA.

Every gift made to LCA for Give for Good Louisville on September 10th is matched dollar for dollar by the school's board, up to $10,000 in all, so your gift counts twice.

Any amount helps and it would mean a lot to our family!
