Charlie Ostertag for Louisville Orchestra

I'm excited to support our Louisville Orchestra and help bring the joy of music to young people in our community!

Your support can make an immediate difference:

• $10 sends one student to a MakingMUSIC concert

• $25 provides a free ticket and parking for a student to attend a rehearsal

• $50 provides a ticket and transportation for a student to attend a matinee concert

• $100 provides materials for a school workshop

• $350 provides a classroom visit from a Louisville Orchestra musician

• $500 provides two buses for one school to attend a MakingMUSIC performance

• $1,000 sends the 4th and 5th graders from one elementary school to a MakingMUSIC performance

A gift might put a student in the concert hall for the first time. It might introduce them to the instrument they eventually decide to play. It might show a young composer that something they imagined can become real music, or simply give a child an experience they will remember years from now.

For more than 80 years, MakingMUSIC has given local students the chance to experience the Louisville Orchestra - whether seeing the full Orchestra perform, welcoming musicians into their schools, or even getting the chance to perform alongside them.
