Help Maya Support Equity in Education

The Decode project's mission is to eliminate inequities in education by fostering a diverse group of learners prepared to navigate the world. The guiding values are action, access, collaboration, accountability, and equity. As a mentor, I support the mission by creating an inclusive, engaging environment where all decoders can succeed. I put the values into practice by taking action through intentional lessons, supportive instruction, and encouraging collaboration by prioritizing and meeting each decoder's needs. Fundraising strengthens this impact by providing resources, materials, and opportunities that allow more students to receive the support they need to thrive.
