Support youth development through food & farming!

This February, I joined FLP as the Farm and Facilities Manager. I have been farming and working in food justice spaces for a decade, and I have big dreams to grow a lot of food with the young people here. So far, our youth crews have grown over 5,000 pounds of food on 1 acre of leased land that we have distributed for free to the community through our on-farm programs, partner schools, food pantries, and other community organizations. The importance of growing good food and getting that to our neighbors who need it only increases as the economic, political, and climate landscapes become more unstable.
