Shelby Mouser Hayes is Fundraising for Day Spring

It’s my favorite event of the year—Give for Good Louisville!

Why? Because EVERYONE can get involved and make a difference for a cause and nonprofit they believe in!

I’m asking you to support a mission I am invested in—Day Spring’s.

Day Spring is not just the organization I work for; it’s a passion and community that motivates me and drives me forward. Fundraising has been a big part of my role here for the last three years, and I’ve seen firsthand the incredible impact that campaigning and generous gifts make on the individuals we serve—and the peace of mind they bring to their families.

Some of the most challenging conversations we have with families of loved ones with intellectual and developmental disabilities revolve around the fear of the unknown and the daunting question: “What happens when I am no longer able to care for my child or loved one?”

Day Spring works to be that solution for families, filling gaps in services that so many face.

That’s why I love my job—and this organization—so much. I genuinely believe that what we do makes Louisville a more vibrant, inclusive community and creates a brighter future for the individuals we serve.
