I'm excited to support Highview Arts Center rebuild after their recent flood!
Those who know me personally know how passionate I am about community.
Theater is about so much more than showing off a skill and putting on a show. While that is a blast, its about expression, representation, exploration, communication, and a home.
This group I've spent the last few months working with on And Then There Were None have been so incredible. The comfort and peace I feel (even when simulating murder and death) has been life changing.
In a world that is getting more and more apathetic and individualistic places like this are getting more and more important.
Places where we can be ourselves, support each other, be heard and listen back and then pour all of that into a show to give people in a moments peace from the chaos outside needs to be preserved.
Please consider helping by donating to our Give for Good campaigns to support HAC and help them to provide that community space. Especially after their recent flood.
That’s why I’m supporting Highview Arts Center during Give for Good Louisville. HAC is more than a theatre; it’s a welcoming, inclusive space where creativity thrives and community comes first.
From affordable ticket prices to physically accessible facilities, they’re breaking down barriers so everyone can experience the joy of the arts, and have a home. Even if just for a few hours.
When you support HAC, you're not just helping them rebuild their stage floor, you are creating a foundation for the arts in your neighborhood.
