Heuser Hearing & Language Academy (HHLA), a Louisville educational program serving children who are Deaf or hard of hearing and children with speech, language, and communication disorders. HHLA's mission is to help children develop communication skills, succeed in school, and become more independent.
Your donations will help sustain the educational resources and support services that families rely on.
What the money supports:
- Specialized education for children with hearing, speech, and language needs.
- Communication-based learning, including speech, sign language, music, and other approaches tailored to each child.
- Audiology support: students receive free daily services during the school year, including hearing-aid checks, repairs, batteries, and hearing testing.
- Summer programming, with seven weeks of programming offered by HHLA.
- Support for families, creating an educational environment where families are treated as part of the Heuser community.
