I have served on the Board of Directors for St. George’s Scholar Institute since 2016, and believe that SGSI provides invaluable life lessons and scholarly guidance to young men and women in Louisville. SGSI is dedicated to providing out-of-school time educational, leadership, and emotional support programs for youth across Louisville.
This year for Give for Good Louisville, SGSI aims to raise funds to expand its services, and a contribution of any amount can make a difference in the lives of the children SGSI serves:
- $25 provides snacks for a Scholar for a month.
- $50 provides a tutoring session for a Scholar.
- $100 provides four field trips for a Scholar.
- $250 provides a scholarship for a Scholar to the Reading Rockets Summer Program.
- $600 provides a Scholar with a College Tour.
