Student of Moorman

I love to tell the story that I knew Mr. Moorman. He was a teacher of mine in high school, we both served as trustees together at Clay Street, and he was my best friend and big brother. I know that Mr. Moorman cared about the achievement and the pursuits of his kids and I feel the same way. 

The students at the Marnel C. Moorman Family Life Center are truly cared for and driven to go beyond their expectations. The kids get their homework done, they are encouraged to beyond levels they ever thought they could. 

The children are highly motivated to excel in areas that they may not have pursued. Educate, Empower, and Expose are tenets the center stands on. 

Professionals re invited in to help the kids. High school students come in to help. Everyday ordinary people come in to help in whatever capacity needed.

All this is great but we know there is a financial cost. Supplies, fieldtrips, and educational support has to be funded. So please stand with me and support the Marnel C. Moorman Family Life Center.
