It's Give for Good, and Actors Theatre of Louisville does A LOT of good! Please consider a donation to this amazing local arts organization.
My Actors Theatre roots run deep... I have had the pleasure of attending ATL productions since I was a student attending fieldtrip matinees. I have been honored to perform on two of their historic stages: "The Color Purple" in the Pamela Brown Auditorium, and "Who Killed Alberta Jones" in the Victor Jory Theatre. And now, I have one year under my belt as the Business Administrator! It's a privilege to marry my professional experience with my passion for the arts. And it's a DREAM doing it at Actors Theatre.
- ATL is an essential non-profit, with a small (yet dedicated) staff, serving as the Community Arts Hub in Louisville and the State Theatre of Kentucky!
This work requires support! JOIN ME
This Give for Good Louisville, I’m asking you to join me in supporting Actors Theatre. Every gift helps keep live theatre thriving in our community and creates more opportunities for people to experience the connection, joy, and belonging that the arts provide.
WHY GIVE TO ACTORS THEATRE?
- Regular participation in cultural events is associated with a 32% lower risk of depression.
- Engaging with the arts just a few times a year is associated with a 14% lower risk of premature death.
- The arts give us a place to gather. Chronic loneliness can have a significant impact on our health — the U.S. Surgeon General compares its effects to smoking 15 cigarettes a day.
THE EVIDENCE IS CLEAR:
When you invest in the arts you’re creating a healthier, happier Louisville.
