Hello friends,
I’m proud to be raising funds for Kentucky Harvest during Give for Good Louisville — our community’s biggest day of giving.
As a member of the Kentucky Harvest Board of Directors, I’ve had the opportunity to see firsthand the impact this organization makes throughout our community. Since 1987, Kentucky Harvest has rescued perfectly good food that might otherwise go to waste and delivered it to nonprofit organizations serving families, children and seniors who need it most. To date, more than 88 million pounds of food have been rescued and redirected to our neighbors.
This mission is especially meaningful to me. I’ve spent much of my career in food and supply chain operations, so I see every day the tremendous amount of work and resources that go into producing, moving and delivering food. Knowing that good food can be rescued instead of wasted — and put directly into the hands of people who need it — is a mission I’m incredibly proud to support.
Kentucky Harvest represents something very simple but powerful: connecting abundance with need. It’s about reducing food waste, fighting hunger and taking care of our neighbors right here in our community.
And this year, your impact can go even further. Thanks to the Papa John’s Foundation, every donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $10,000. A $25 gift becomes $50. A $100 gift becomes $200. Together, those contributions help keep Kentucky Harvest trucks on the road and food moving to organizations serving people throughout our community.
On Thursday, September 10, I hope you’ll consider supporting my Give for Good Louisville campaign. Whether it’s $25, $50, $100 or more, every contribution helps.
Please donate through my page and share it with your family, friends and network.
I’m proud to serve Kentucky Harvest and grateful for everyone willing to join us in making sure good food goes where it can do the most good.
Thank you for your support!
Chad Clark
