Laura supports time in the trees

I have always enjoyed Bernheim and being in the forest, but our son was the catalyst for our increased presence and support of Bernheim.  Since he could walk it has been a favorite place for us to hike together, when the Forest Giants arrived we went to see them often and the Playcosystem is his absolute favorite playground!  

Through my work I started to get to know more of the Bernheim staff and everyone's passion for this special place became infectious!  I happily became involved in the development of Bernheim's Climate Crisis Action Plan which was announced on Earth Day 2024, they have committed to make Bernheim carbon neutral by 2029, their 100-year anniversary!  Bernheim not only protects its 16,000+ arces, it enhances nature, art, education and community.
