Support the Next Generation of Louisville Rowers

In 2021, the Louisville Rowing Club restarted its Juniors program with just a handful of athletes. Today, we have 43 young rowers from 19 different schools, including public, private, and homeschool students from Jefferson and Oldham Counties.

Our middle school program introduces younger athletes to the sport and gives them a place to learn, have fun, and build a foundation for rowing. Our high school athletes take their training to the next level, competing at 7–10 regattas each year around the country. In just five years, our program has already made two appearances at Youth Nationals, and six of our athletes have gone on to row at the collegiate level at schools including the University of Louisville, University of Dayton, Bryn Mawr, Stetson University, and the University of Central Oklahoma.

As our program continues to grow, we want to make the experience our athletes have both on and off the water even better. Donations to our Juniors program help us provide better equipment, training opportunities, regatta experiences, and the resources our athletes need to continue developing as rowers and teammates.

We are proud of how far our Juniors program has come in just five years, and we are excited about where these athletes can go next.
