When I started as a Literacy Mentor at Decode Project, I didn't know the passion for literacy I would grow to have! I was new to Louisville and looking for community-based work, and fell in love with Decode's mission. I worked as a Literacy Mentor all throughout college and learned just how crucial literacy access is. Now, as a Program Administrator, I am excited to continue expanding our reach and finding new ways to make reading more accessible.
Our individualized approach to teaching reading is unique and effective, and is what makes Decode so special!
In order to make our Structured Literacy programming affordable to all, we rely heavily on grants and donations. Any amount helps to provide our brilliant Decoders with the support they need. Reading is freedom!📚💜
